Working title: Engineering and Humanities: The Social Responsibility of an Engineer. (English version of manuscript provisionally accepted. After translation into Chinese is completed final approval for publication will be finalized.


My long in the birthing process book tentatively entitled, From Tradition to Technology: The Ontological Ethics of Hans Jonas is nearing conclusion. The full manuscript will finally be delivered to the University of Chicago Press (with which I have been under contract for some years).

Planned, organized and directed first Polytechnic study abroad semester. 

As part of the Liberal Studies program I have created and organized a program of international travel for Polytechnic students. During the Fall 2002 semester a group of students and faculty will inaugurate this program with a 14 week study tour to China, Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Viet Nam, Cambodia, Thailand and the Philippines. traveling with them while visiting numerous cultural, historical, industrial sites and universities and government agencies. 

Organized and directed UICEE conference on global engineering education held at Polytechnic in 2007. 

Organized and directed international summit on the “Future of Engineering Education” at NYUAD in 2012.
